The 3rd Training School entitled “Smart sensing applications” was successfully held, as a hybrid event, in Empa – Swiss Federal Laboratories for Materials Science and Technology, Dübendorf (Switzerland), between 5th and 8th of June 2023.
The participants had the opportunity to be trained from academic experts in soft sensors based on carbon nanomaterials and their applications, as well as to participate in a group exercise regarding 3D printing and sensor characterization.
Besides, they had the opportunity to visit NEST at Empa, which was a great opportunity for the trainees and of great importance for our Action, in order to connect academia with industry.
Gratitude to Dr. Frank Clemens and his team, as well as to Prof. Cardon Ludwig for the hospitality and the organization of the training school.
